When I became frustrated by the lack of subject matters that I could shoot in my house, I realized that I could also take photos of the many different plant species living in my backyard. Not only did I love the trees and flowers that I could find in my backyard, but I was also intrigued by the importance of the timing. Each second, the sunlight and shadows would shift and completely transform each photo. By taking photos of my backyard, I was able to document the sights and feelings I experienced during this process.
